Robert Carran was born December 11, 1812. He was probably the son of John Carran and Eleanor Skillicorn, baptized at Lezayre, December 13, 1812. Robert Carran, age 102, died November 16, 1914. (1812-1914). Funeral from the residence of his son L. C. Carran, 1963 E. 73rd St. Buried Highland Park Cemetery.

Robert married first, about 1837, Elizabeth Kneale. Elizabeth Kneale was born about 1820. She immigrated in 1834.

Robert Carran married second, December 9, 1852, Ann Quayle. Ann died February 18, 1872, age 42 "wife of Robert Carran".

Robert Carran lived in Warrensville.

i. John J. Carran was born about 1838, and died April 28, 1888, in his 50th year.

ii. Thomas Jefferson Carran was born February 1, 1841, and died June 12, 1849.

iii. Robert Andrew Carran was born April 11, 1843, and died September 27, 1920, age 77. Husband of Eva, father of Edward F., Robert C., and Mrs. P. H. Killian". Wife Eva A. _____ died August 26, 1927. "Wife of late Robert A.; mother of Edward F, Robert C., and Mrs. Ethel L. Killian." Buried in Lakeview Cemetery.
Vivian Lee Carran, only child of Robert and Eva Carran died July 23, 1880, age 4 months.
Carran-Sylvia J. Carran, daughter of R. A. and Eva Carran, aged 17 months. Funeral services July 21, at 4 p. m. from residence, 1250 Willson ave.

iv. William W. Carran was born in 1845, and died May 23, 1863.

v. Lewis Cass Carran was born October 13, 1846, and died June 29, 1927. He married, November 23, 1896, Mary Ryan. Mary E. Carran, wife of L. C. Carran died August 20, 1895.
Vivian Carran, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Carran, died June 14, 1880, age 4 months.

vi. Ellen Jane Carran was born in 1850, and died September 2, 1852.

vii. Elizabeth Ann Carran was born in April 1850.

viii. Frances E. Carran was born about 1857.

ix. Charles H. Carran was born about 1860, and died August 28, 1934. He is buried in Highland Park Cemetery. Charles Carran married Harriet _____.

x. Nelson R. Carran was born January 30, 1863, and died January 21, 1912, age 48. Buried Lakeview Cemetery.

xi. Martha Carran was born about 1865.
