Manx Pioneers to 1850, Warrensville

I am compiling a collective genealogy of the Manx families in Warrensville, Ohio, by 1850 (starting with the families in the 1850 census). This project coincides tangentially with Tim Davis' recent postings of Manx Piioneer Women, and his manuscript was very helpful.

Sources are:
(1) Isle of Man baptisms and marriages from the IGI, and generally have NOT yet been checked against the parish registers.

(2) various transcriptions/scans in Frances Coakley's Manx Notebook, especially passenger lists and early histories of the Cleveland/Warrensville area.

(3) Cuyahoga County marriage index on-line (To send for a copy of the cert to Cuyahoga County Archives: e-mail archive@www.cuyahoga.oh.us The cost is 25 cents per copy plus postage. They send a bill with your copies.

(4) Cleveland Public Library Necrology file, online. All deaths in Cuyahoga County unless otherwise stated.

(5) U. S. census for Cuyahoga County. For 1850, 1860, 1870 Manx-born residents, see Frances Coakley's Manx Notebook, to which these have been contributed. For 1880 census, see familysearch.org

(6) Manx Pioneer Women of Warrensville Township, Timothy Cannell Davis. (I may be repeating information available in the book from which he extracted his info. If so, I 'm sorry.)

I will be posting 1 to 3 families at a time. Any additional information or corrections would be very much appreciated. It is my hope to submit the final compilation, with all contributors credited, to the appropriate historical and genealogical libraries.
