My great-grandparents, John James Corlett (born 1850 Ramsey) and Eunice Eliza Quayle (born 1853) were married in Manchester in 1876. Their son Howard was born about 1878 and son Douglas about 1885/6. Howard appears on the 1881 census, but not 1901. My grandmother Una was born in July, 1881, in Manchester. I have not found Howard or Douglas on IGI births, nor 1837 online.
Could Howard or Douglas have been born on Isle of Man?
