I am looking for the marriage of a James Blount to a lady of the Lewknor family in the early 1600s. Does anyone know of this on the Isle of Man? My reasons for trying IOM is that James was came from a military family and was of Stanley descent; his stepmother also, Bridgett Blount, formerly Broome, married a William Stanley in 1630. James' family were Royalists and "stand and be counted" Catholics.
