Following on from my earlier posting, here is a reply received from the Manx Registry:

I am having discussions regarding the inputting of our records onto a
computer database and having the indexes for these online. As you will
appreciate it will take some time for the records to be scanned or manually
entered and checked. Of course the Isle of Man Family History Society will
publicise when they will be available.
