I did go to the isle last year at carnival time, in july, have walked though Glen Maye, beautiful,and a few other Glens, I would recommend a visit to anyone, what my children are interested in is the fairy bridge, what is the story behind that, folk lore? and also the Viking boat races,how long have the races been held?and lastly i visited the Leece museium[in peel] [the black hole,]who was the last person to be imprisoned there?
oh and i loved Port Erin.
