I also have the Archibald Bennett document and, yes, occasionally I have found queries although I do not know about this Jane Garrett as it is not the twig of this tree that I have focussed onto. I can say, for certain, that James Garrett chr 29 Aug 1841 Kirk German son of William Garrett = Jane Corlett is listed in the Bennett document as "JOS" making him Joseph not James. James was my Great-grandfather. He is buried at St. Luke's Cemetery, Baldwin as is his youngest child,Philip. His wife Catharine Jane (Cowan) is listed however there seems to be no record of her burial there other than her name on the headstone. Sorry, I have deviated in trying to clarify the accuracy. I am not sure whether Denise and I are speaking of the same Jane Garrett even though the birthdate and parents are being assumed as the same.
