My Corlett's just got away from me there for a moment. I should have written:

THOMAS Corlett (b. 1826; d. 1890) who married Dorothy Tate was previously married to Elizabeth Caine of Douglas, with whom he had (at least) two children, Margaret, b. 1851, and Edwin, b. 1856.

You can see him in the 1881 Census at 7 Taubman Terrace in Braddan, occupation Assistant Harbour Master, listed with wife Dora, b. abt 1832.

Hopefully, my Corlett Uncles will forgive me for the momentary confustion...
