Unless I am mistaken, the Robert Corlett who married Dorothy Tate was previously married to Elizabeth Caine of Douglas, with whom he had (at least) two children, Margaret, b. 1851, and Edwin, b. 1856.

You can see him in the 1881 Census at 7 Taubman Terrace in Braddan, occupation Assistant Harbour Master, listed with wife Dora, b. abt 1832.

He's my ggg-Uncle - I'm descended from his sister, Elinor.
