Researching the Gelling family i have come across a John Gelling b. 1765 Braddan, IOM who married a Margaret Kewley b. 1769 also of Braddan IOM. They had a son John Gelling b.1797 again in Braddan IOM along with 9 other brothers and sisters (Catherine, Margaret, Eliza, Robert, Jane, Anne Eleanor, Ann, William and Ruth).
I would like to know if anyone knows of John Gelling b. 1797 and his descendants. I am trying to link this family with a John Gelling b.1844 Patrick IOM who married Agnes Curphey b. 1848 of Douglas IOM.
Any clues?
