It is getting worse!
I gave the example before of a couple of marriages which are now on the IGI as "submitted by a member of the Church" and with no duplicate entries from the register, and which therefore can't be found under the batch number even though they appear on the parish register.
So the problem with familysearch online is not that extra [personal research] entries are being added with the batch number, but that these personal contributions are being used in place of the original ones from the parish registers WITHOUT the batch number. And this is now happening with baptisms as well!
A search by parents under the batch number turned up only two of the four children in one family, even though I have the details of the four baptisms from the parish register. The other two baptisms are now entered in the online IGI under BIRTH and "Form submitted by a member of the LDS Church".
