According to my mother the branch of Gicks that we are from came from the Isle of Man. My dad Greatgrandfather was Peter Gick born in 1805 in Germany, he came to America in 1849. He was married to a Margaret Kroup Morganroth according to the entry in to the USA. My Dad's grandfather was Henry Gick and then my dads Fathers name was also Peter Gick. We are hunting for his Greatgrandfathers Peters' mother and father in the Isle of Man. I had just talked to my mother and she said they left the Isle of Man and went to Germany and she can't find any information on the family before that time. If you can help or if you are interested my mother has the family tree made out. At this time my parents are in Florid for the winter and will not be back until April.
