I realize this sounds a might "non-gen", however I am begging assistance with the following as my lack of knowledge with regard to the geography of India is sadly lacking. The 1881 UK Census includes a listing for one of my Manx ancestors and his wife's place of birth is recorded as "B S India". I've exhausted all my known resources in order to discover what the initials BS are referring to, without success. Is it a town/city in India, or ???? Any info will be most appreciated. Thank you.
