Dunbar-Raldreuth Die Männerinsel Paul Lift Verlag: Leipzig 1940 who has description of camp life 1916-1917 - however my O-level german is not really upto job of translating the book. There is a bit in Dower's book on WW1 internees but that book seems very difficult to find.
