Few if any local newspapers bother to keep copies much older than 6 months let alone 60 years - the Manx press is now a monopoly (the politics of which in terms of their coverage or rather lack of it to certain misbehaviour is debated at length on other boards) and is no exception - the Manx museum has microfilmed all issues - must admit I have never needed to use the 1932 copies so can't immediately recall if there is a gap here. The UK National Newspaper Library at Colingdale North London has I believe copies of many of the titles (most newer microfilms are done as a joint venture with Manx Museum) and this may be easier for some UK readers to access
