I am looking for information on John Collister b 6-5-1811 to William and Elizabeth on the Isle of Man at kirk Braadan?. His wife Esther Moore Daughter of Robert and Ann Moore b 6-24-1809. They had at least one child Ann b 8-5-1833 before they emigrated to the USA in 1836?. I have a copy of a photo of John taken form a news article written when he was 91 yrs old. I also have a photo of what I think is a close relative [THE RESEMBLANCE IS STRONG} taken on the Isle of Man pre 1900 The photo was taken by J. Champion Bradshaw, 40 Finch Rd., Douglas. the picture is of a well dressed man in his 60's? slightly balding , with a beard. The only other information that I have is a family story that my grandfather had in his possession until the late fifties corespondance from a brother of john that imagrated to Australia at around the same time. Also in our familys posession is a small marble and gold acorn {again according to family history from the IOM and an award for valor}.
