I do not know if this is significant to your research or not but, I worked as a Nannie at a Private Nursery School in Douglas when I was 16 years old.
It was owned and run by a Miss. BUTLER.
It was situated oppsosite a Drs. Surgery which is now, I believe a Hospice.
Maybe someone from the FHS could help further with address's etc?
