Could anyone tell me what the most common route for emmigrating to North America, specifically Canada, around 1915-1918 would have been? My grandmother would have left Douglas around that time to travel to Toronto, Canada. I believe she landed in Quebec City, Quebec and then travelled to Toronto by train. Any suggestions or sites of reference would be appreciated i.e. names of ships, shipping lines, etc.
