Re: CAMPBELL?Donaldson at LAMBFELL BEG

Liber Assed (Manorial Roll) will give names of all those who paid lord's rent - different rolls (most on Mormon Microfilm) cover 1511 through to late 19th C. eg see http://www.ee.surrey.ac.uk/Contrib/manx/fulltext/manroll/gn.htm for earliest
The Composition book of 1703 also on Mormon Microfilm is probably a good start as is the 1643.
Deeds upto approx end of 19th C are in Manx Museum but indexed by name of seller and buyer not by property name.
Wood's atlas (on mormon microfilm) gives owners and extent in c.1864 with a map showing the fields; tithe plans are usually available from 1840's these later are in Manx Museum - as it happens I have copies of all the German tithe plans and intended them to go on my CD some time in the future (wasn't a high priority though)

In 1863 William Christian was farming it
