Yes. Your grandmother was from the line of Kerruishes at Ballafayle, Maughold. Among her grandchildren (from her first marriage) was the late Edward Corteen, a well-known Maughold character, who took a great interst in northern Manx families and helped many an enquirer on his way.

She was also the aunt of our Patron, Sir Charles Kerruish.
