Have just seen an interesing documentary on The Bounty. The Pitcairn descendents, whilst mixed English and Polynesian blood, all had predominantly British accents. If Christian is presumably a Manx name, does anyone know if there is a connection with Fletcher and the IOM? I used to know someone who lived on Pitcairn. Will try to make contact again.
