Kermott Family

Hello all,
Would anybody mind looking up the name Kermott in the following publications.
41 MI MAROWN - New Yard with Index
42 MI MAROWN - St Runius Old Churchyard

4 BR BRADDAN PARISH - Book 1, 1624 - 1699 & 1700 - 1799

5 BR BRADDAN PARISH - Book 2, 1800 - 1849
12 BR DOUGLAS St George's Church 1790 - 1994

Before you respond telling me that the name Kermott doesn't go back further than 1800 let me assure you that Edward Kermott was born on the IOM in 1793 and at least two generations earlier were on the Isle with the name of Kermott. Some Genealogy searches reference a William Kermott on the IOM born 1600 and another in 1666.

I'm looking for any info on Kermott but especially William J. Kermott and John Kermott. William was a school teacher but died in his prime circa 1806 and may have been in the Braddan or St George's Burial Registers. My family papers state that William's children went to live with their uncle John on his estate west of Douglas 5 miles. (The family bible states that the children [Edward and William] were christened at Kirk Marown) I'm pretty sure then that William lived in or near Douglas. Maybe the Douglas grave sites would have a reference to William.
I am also interested in finding William's wife's name. She is referenced many times but never named (which is irritating).

My Kermott Genealogy web site is at http://dkermott.dynip.com. There are family papers, family crest (I'm uncertain of its origin or authenticity), scanned images of our family bible, pictures, dates, info, etc...

If anybody has any info they would like to share please send me an email or reply to this post.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
