My research shows that there was an Ann Christian in the birth family of my great, great grandmother Christian(a) Christian, daughter of William Christian and Christian Goldsmith. Christian(a) was born 1817 Kirk Andreas, married and emigrated to U S where her first husband died, I was told, in Indiana where she met her 2nd husband John Caley, who died of influenza. She next married Thomas Walton & they gave birth to my Great Grandmother Emma who later married my Great Grandfather Wesley Bird Phipps. I believe Christian(a) first married John Dougherty on the Isle before immigrating to U S. I found Ann as a sister to Christian(a), although I believe there was a large age difference.
