This is way off your topic, but I live in a street called Persic Street, Belfield (suburb of Sydney, Australia). Around here there are a small number of streets named after WW1 connections, and you would be aware that the SS Persic was an Australian troop ship. Tomorrow, 11 November, Australia's Remembrance Day, the local council (Canterbury) are placing special street signs at the junctions of all the streets with WW1 associated names and having a special ceremony.I have alwawys wondered where the word Persic comes from,i.e., it's meaning, I now know it's an alternate adjective to Persian.
Best wishes
