Folklore history.

I have visited my eighty-seven year old aunt today, grand-daughter of Eunice Eliza Quayle of Ballaskella, Lezayre, and John James Corlett of Ramsey, who were married in Manchester in 1876.
I have been given a sixty-seven page hand-written manuscript:-
"Contributions to the folk lore of Isle of Man" by C. Roeder, Manchester, collected in June to September, 1896, and finished 10th November, 1896.
There are many instances of people who have seen spirits and ghosts and the advice given how to behave when meeting one. He also described places on the island and collected plants native to the island.
The manuscript is quite delicate, but should be preserved or copied - any ideas from the archivists on the Island?
I would be interested to know if this document was ever published in book form.
