Manx Catholic Martyr?

I am interested in the historic branches of the Andertons of Lancashire and came across the following article which you might find of interest from "Recusant History" Vol 1, No3, p235 entitled "The birthplace of the Blessed Robert Anderton" by T.B.Trappes Lomax

"The poem here printed shows that this martyr was born, not in Lancashire as has been generally thought, but in the Isle of Man. It occurs on p145 of a MS book known as "The Great Hodge Podge" which has always been in the possession of the Blundell family of Crosby co. Lanc.

It is probably in the handwriting of William Blundell of Crosby who was born in 1560, in the same year, that is, as Anderton. Blundell was consequently 26 years old when Anderton was executed in the Isle of Wight in 1586. He died in 1630"

...It goes on to give the poem in its' entirety and in the notes on the end is added ...

"A Robert Anderton of Brasenose College, Oxford, matriculated 20 July 1578, aged 18. ... He was at Rivington Grammar School, co. Lanc., in 1575. (M.M. Kay, History of Rivington and Blackrod Grammar School, 41)"

I would be interested to hear more of any Manx Andertons, especially of the same period.
