if it sank within Manx waters then Aidrian Corkill's CD-ROM of Manx shipwrecks will have some details (a very comprehensive and extremely useful list however marred by no references thus you have to take his word for it! - also it costs over 27pounds for effectively a 500kbyte file! and is actually no more than a pdf image of a book though with an electronic index) - if not then I suspect you need consult the PRO (at least I think that is where UK registered maritime records are but it's not an area I have done any work in (have you checked their on-line data base?) - the name would lead me to think it was registered in the Lancaster/Preston area (possiby Liverpool) as Kirkham (St Anne) is next to Blackpool
