I am researching my husbands family tree - his Grandfather was Joseph Henry Kermode who was born in 1856 in the IOM. He was one of 11 brothers - James; Thomas Cowley Kermode; William; Alfred; Alfred John; Nathaniel; Edward; John Jonathon; Francis Colwey Kermode; Robert Henry.
Joseph's parents were Thomas (b 1818) and Eliza Cowley (b 1820).
Joseph's Grandparents were James and Ann Kew(i)n who were married in 1818 and Thomas Cowley & Catherine Teare.
I would like to know about spouses for any of these and children - with dates.
Joseph came to NZ and settled in Christchurch.
I believe that Nathaniel settled in Australia
amd John Jonathon went to Liverpool. James went to USA and Edward stayed in the IOM and had one son.
I have a mountain of gaps and would love more information.
