The Fletcher Cannell in the 1881 census was Fletcher Ernest Cannell, son of Patrick Cannell and Ann Quirk. He was born 4 March 1877 in Kione Droghad ( I think that I must change the spelling to that given by Frances Coakley - Kiondroughad.)

Patrick Cannell was born 22 July 1827 and died at Kione Droughad 5 April 1902. I can trace this line back to Patrick Cannell born 26 September 1658. His father was Wm Cannell but I have no dates. Marshal Cannell has the father as Hugh and a slightly different line for the two earliest generations. I do not have any record connecting this line to the Laxey Mine.
