I'm assuming that as you are with enterprise you are likely to be on Island - if so suggest easiest thing is to go to Braddan yard and read the Memorial Inscription - that will give you year of birth etc;
Yes the Museum will help but they will need dates - theare are a couple of possible Samuel Moores in 1881 - none on South Quay

If you have marriage dates etc to to General Registry (Deemsters Walk) and buy the certificates back to 1877 then use microfilms in Manx Museum or go to Fam history soc above Shoprite in Michael street Peel (generally Tues Wed and Sta afternoons)
