As yet, all I have been able to def confirm is , Elizabeth quayles father was named John, and was a blacksmith in Kirkmichael, at the time of her birth in 1841. He was listed in 1863?, Thwaites I.O.M. guide to business people in Kirkmichael. She definately married William Kewish in 1867, Liverpool. The william Kewish I have been able to find B 1838,Lezayre, has parents - William Kewish and Catherine Cowley. I am waiting for our William's death cert to confirm this, and hopefully will know this week.
